About the role#
IAT Insurance Group is looking for a student to join our IT Business Unit for a summer internship in Milwaukee. This is a full-time, paid position running from May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027. You will work under the direction of a lead software developer to gain technical experience in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Create and modify data integration processes using C# and SQL Server Integration Services.
- Write and maintain technical design documentation.
- Meet with technical and business staff to discuss project requirements and how they impact our systems.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the development team.
What you'll need#
- Standing as a rising undergraduate Junior or Senior.
- A major in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Coursework or experience in object-oriented programming, data integration, or relational database systems.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Modality: Hybrid. You will work from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
- This role does not provide housing or relocation assistance.
