About the role#
The U.S. Compliance Co-op will work alongside compliance professionals, attorneys, and analysts within the Legal, Compliance & Risk Department. This role involves contributing to regulatory development initiatives, assessing firm compliance programs, and managing exam-related tasks. You will collaborate with internal teams such as Global Relationship Management, Trading, and Investment Administration to research regulatory requirements and implement policy enhancements.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to regulatory development and exam management.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses of existing policies.
- Assist with Material Non-Public Information (MNPI) controls.
- Support Client Due Diligence and record retention processes.
- Perform regulatory and rule change research.
- Provide support for Broker Dealer compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
- Previous co-op experience in a professional setting.
- Strong academic credentials, preferably with a focus on law or financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
- A genuine interest in financial markets.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
