    About the role#

    This is a full-time co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work directly with the Fixed Income Trading Desk to support daily operations and trade coordination. This role requires cross-training to ensure performance across multiple trading functions.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor confirmation platforms to ensure FX and bond trades are matched and allocations are acknowledged by broker-dealers.
    • Provide manual allocations for trades that are not matched electronically.
    • Research and resolve trading discrepancies.
    • Handle phone coverage and relay information between broker-dealers and traders.
    • Generate and analyze daily reports to track key risk indicators.
    • Support traders and trade coordinators with ad-hoc projects.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a student at Northeastern University.
    • Prior co-op experience is required.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with and interest in the finance industry.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
    • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
    • Previous experience in a corporate environment is a plus.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
    • The work schedule is hybrid. You will work from the office 4 days a week with the flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.
    • This is a paid position.
