    About the role#

    This Co-Op position is split between the Investment Platform Legal Team and the Regulatory Reporting Code of Ethics Team. You will support the administration of the firm's Code of Ethics policy, which covers areas such as personal investing, gifts, entertainment, and political contributions. The role involves contributing to ongoing initiatives, regulatory developments, corporate governance, and counterparty documentation. You will work alongside legal services professionals, global counsel, and teams across Trading, Operations, and Investment Administration.

    What you'll do#

    • Respond to employee questions regarding Code of Ethics policies and programs.
    • Support process, system, and data-dependent elements of the broker account lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with EMEA and APAC compliance colleagues, Operational Risk, and Internal Audit.
    • Create and maintain data visualizations, reporting tools, and operational procedures.
    • Identify opportunities to improve and automate compliance processes through workflow enhancements.
    • Perform client and entity document review, research, and production.
    • Manage database population, document management, and record retention.
    • Assist with signature coordination and legal or regulatory research.
    • Support key Legal, Compliance, and Risk Group initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
    • Strong analytical skills, good judgment, and a high degree of organizational and problem-solving ability.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Eagerness to learn and an interest in financial markets.
    • High degree of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor.
    • Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, process automation like Power Automate, and analysis of large datasets.
    • Preferred: A focus in legal or financial services.
