About the role#
Wellabe is hiring an intern for our Actuary team. This is a 10-week paid internship running from June 7th through August 13th, 2027. You will work on various projects to gain professional experience that complements your classroom learning. The program includes orientation, regular check-ins, a mentor, weekly learning sessions, and social events.
What you'll do#
- Support product development and regulatory filings.
- Contribute to financial and reserve analysis.
- Enhance data infrastructure and analytics.
- Collaborate on plan design and sensitivity modeling.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Actuary, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Completion of any Actuary exams is a plus, as is previous internship experience.

- This position is based in Des Moines, Iowa.
- The role is hybrid.
- This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
