About the role#
Wellabe is offering a 10-week paid Information Security internship for Summer 2027. This full-time program runs from June 7th through August 13th. You will work alongside our team to gain professional experience through project work and weekly learning sessions. The program includes mentorship, regular check-ins, and opportunities to connect with company leaders.
What you'll do#
- Focus on Information Technology administration and security tasks.
- Maintain and operate security controls and countermeasures for information systems.
- Monitor business processes to assist with the implementation of security procedures.
- Identify and track security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Report on security trends and findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an IT or related degree program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of how information systems operate is helpful.
- Previous internship or experience in systems administration and security is a plus.
