About the role#
This is a 12-week paid summer internship based in New York City. You will join the Cyber and Technology Errors and Omissions team to gain hands-on experience in commercial underwriting. You will participate in real-world projects and collaborate with experienced underwriters, claims teams, and actuarial teams. This role offers an introduction to risk assessment, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
What you'll do#
- Learn to evaluate and underwrite Cyber, Errors and Omissions, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, and Media Liability insurance.
- Analyze cyber hygiene and professional liability exposures using submission materials, including applications, claim trends, and news articles.
- Meet with external broker partners and clients to build your professional network.
- Participate in projects that impact our customers and business.
- Collaborate with other interns across North America.
