About the role#
We are looking for a motivated IT Intern to join our technology team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, remote internship that runs for 10 weeks. You will gain hands-on experience in IT support, systems maintenance, cybersecurity, and software troubleshooting while working directly with industry leaders.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and configure computers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, asset inventories, and user guides.
- Support system upgrades, software installations, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts.
- Participate in IT projects including system migrations, cloud integrations, and process automation.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT workflows and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Sophomore classification or higher with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- A minimum of one year of work experience or equivalent military experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and common enterprise software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Availability to commit to a 40-hour work week for the duration of the 10-week program.
- Experience with help desk systems or ticketing platforms is a plus.
