About the role#
We are looking for a motivated Legal Intern to support our legal team during the summer of 2027. This position offers hands-on experience in a corporate legal environment. You will work directly with experienced professionals on tasks involving legal research, document review, compliance, and corporate governance.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings on topics like regulatory issues, contracts, and case law.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents including policies and memoranda.
- Track regulatory changes and internal policy updates to support compliance efforts.
- Prepare materials for legal proceedings and internal reviews.
- Maintain legal files and databases while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the legal aspects of business operations.
- Assist with special projects in areas such as intellectual property, risk management, and corporate governance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree program.
- Sophomore classification or higher with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- A minimum of one year of work experience or equivalent military experience.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Interest in corporate law, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
- Familiarity with legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, remote internship.
- You must be able to commit to a 40-hour work week.
