About the role#
As a Product Specialist Intern, you will join the Product Management team to support ongoing product and project initiatives. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Product Manager to learn foundational product management principles. This role involves coordinating new product development, managing documentation, and assisting with cross-functional launches. You will be based on-site in Fort Worth, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Product Management team with product documentation, label creation, and marketing collateral updates.
- Support cross-functional teams during new product development by tracking tasks and maintaining project timelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Development to support new product launches and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Gather and organize product data, including specifications, product requirements, and feedback from internal teams.
- Update databases and collect information to support the development of business cases.
- Help identify and report product-related issues by working closely with Engineering and Customer Support.
- Create product documentation and sales collateral for sales and technical presentations.
- Support dashboard development and data analysis to help the team monitor product performance.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current student with sophomore, junior, or senior status.
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical competency in understanding and preparing documentation for technical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
- Commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and pre-employment testing.
- Engineering focus with a minor in Marketing or Business is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and dashboard development is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $24 to $26 per hour, depending on skills and qualifications.
- Benefits: Includes flexible PTO (1 hour for every 30 hours worked) and paid holidays.
