About the role#
The Supply Chain & Logistics Intern will support the Supply Chain team in analyzing business processes and driving data-based decision making. This role provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and support strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain performance.
What you'll do#
- Document supply chain business requirements and process flows while performing gap analyses.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier performance.
- Analyze supply chain data to develop recommendations for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service, and Logistics teams.
- Assist in developing and deploying best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as inventory turns, on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, and freight costs.
- Maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Participate in demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory reviews.
- Prepare presentations and reports for leadership based on project findings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, policies, and safety practices.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and pre-employment testing.
