About the role#
Verisk offers a 10-week summer internship program for students pursuing a career in technology. This is a full-time, paid position running from June 2, 2027, through August 2027. You will work in a hybrid capacity, requiring at least 3 days per week in your assigned office.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily and weekly scrum meetings.
- Apply basic Software Development Life Cycle concepts to improve product quality, processes, or user experience.
- Contribute to full-stack software development tasks, including implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX, and Product teams to build usable, maintainable, and reliable software.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelors or masters program or bootcamp with coursework in computer science, data structures, logic, and computation.
- Graduation date in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
- Availability to start the program on June 2, 2027.
- While not required, experience with front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular), back-end (C#, Python, SQL), or infrastructure (AWS, Git) is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This internship is based in Boston, MA; Holmdel, NJ; Jersey City, NJ; or Lehi, UT.
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week role.
