About the role#
The Cybersecurity Risk Intern will support the Technology Governance and Security Team at US Foods. You will gain practical experience in enterprise technology and cyber risk management. This role involves supporting risk governance processes, managing risk registers, and assisting with AI and privacy risk activities. You will work alongside senior team members to see how risk management practices function in a business environment.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day enterprise technology and cyber risk governance activities.
- Maintain the DigiTech risk register and related repositories by updating and organizing risk data.
- Develop and maintain governance documentation, including procedures, templates, and communication materials.
- Conduct research and basic analysis on technology, cyber, AI, and privacy risks to support governance discussions.
- Assist with governance activities related to AI and privacy risk management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Information Technology.
- Must be enrolled in school during the internship period.
- Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- A demonstrable interest in cybersecurity and risk management.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (combination of onsite and remote).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
