About the role#
This internship is part of the Weapon Systems Cybersecurity (WSC) Systems Security Engineering organization. You will join the Aeronautics Systems Sector to support process standardization, assess cybersecurity execution capabilities, and provide technical support to various programs.
What you'll do#
- Participate in cybersecurity execution capability assessments.
- Draft cybersecurity process and training materials for the sector and WSC team.
- Take part in peer reviews for internal processes.
- Support communication activities, including document development, stakeholder meetings, and briefings.
- Gather metrics and work with visualizations to support data analytics.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Graduation date after August 2027.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Preferred: Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher, CompTIA Security+ certification, and experience with MBSE architecture or SSE frameworks (RMF, JSIG, CUI, ICD 503, ISO 27001).
- Preferred: Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, previous internship experience, and experience with engineering project life cycles.
