About the role#
This summer internship offers students the chance to work alongside professional engineers and scientists on complex technical challenges. You will apply your academic knowledge in an operational environment to solve problems that matter. As part of this role, you will participate in Infinity U, a learning and development program that includes technical briefings, professional communication training, and career development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with professional engineers and scientists on real-world projects.
- Contribute to techniques in embedded cyber-physical exploitation.
- Support cyber attack and defense efforts for industrial control systems (ICS).
- Participate in interactive sessions and experiences through the Infinity U program.
- Gain hands-on experience while building connections with team members and fellow interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year or longer STEM degree program, such as Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with computer programming principles and associated languages.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn new skills.
- Interest or experience in reverse engineering software and firmware.
- Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and network protocols.
- Interest or experience in offensive cyber operations and red team threat emulation.
- Interest or experience in defensive cyber operations and blue team capabilities.
- US Citizenship is required, as this role requires the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

- Candidates must be within commutable distance of the Dayton office and have reliable transportation.
