About the role#
Infinity Labs is hiring a Simulation Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time, paid position is based on-site in Huntsville, Alabama. You will work alongside professional engineers and scientists to support modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts for government programs and internal research projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, implementation, and testing of digital models, simulation frameworks, and analysis tools.
- Gain experience with the modeling and simulation pyramid and understand how different levels connect.
- Participate in the Infinity U learning and development program, which includes technical briefings, professional communication workshops, and networking events.
- Contribute to projects that inform high-level decision-making processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year or longer STEM degree program, preferably entering your junior year or later.
- Academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and languages such as C++ or Python.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools like R, JMP, or Excel.
- Ability to comprehend the operations and performance of complex systems at a semi-technical level.
- Intellectual curiosity and a drive to learn.
- US Citizenship is required, as this role requires the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.
