About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom skills to programs that support national defense. You will join the Engineering-Systems team to work on projects that contribute to national security missions.
What you'll do#
- Apply engineering knowledge to real-world defense programs.
- Support projects that assist national defense services.
- Develop technical solutions for high-stakes security missions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preference for students with sophomore standing or higher.
- Basic course experience with IT devices, such as routers, switches, servers, storage, or firewalls.
- Completion of a course in systems or software engineering fundamentals.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- This position requires eligibility for access to classified information, and a Department of Defense Secret clearance is preferred.
