About the role#
The Identity Analyst IT Internship provides firsthand experience within our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. You will work alongside professionals to support the security and authentication infrastructure that serves our employees, partners, and customers. This is a full-time, paid 12-week program based at our Home Office. You will participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog reviews, and deliver a final capstone project to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the build-out, configuration, and proof-of-concept testing of advanced Okta platform capabilities.
- Design, test, and document automated lifecycle and security event workflows.
- Assist with policy configuration, signal-sharing evaluations, and threat response validation.
- Support endpoint identity integration testing and policy validation.
- Onboard and migrate enterprise applications to modern SAML 2.0 and OIDC authentication standards.
- Partner with application teams to conduct authentication testing and troubleshoot federation issues.
- Develop training guides, FAQs, and Standard Operating Procedures for end-users and administrators.
- Document test cases, system runbooks, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist with identity health checks, synthetic transaction monitoring, and operational testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
