About the role#
The Women's Basketball Student Manager supports the daily operations of the basketball program. You will report to the Director of Operations and provide assistance to the coaching staff. This position requires consistent attendance at team practices and home games.
What you'll do#
- Assist with video and film coding.
- Handle laundry duties for the team.
- Set up practice sessions, as well as pre-game and post-game requirements.
- Manage meal set up for pre-game and post-game events.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the coaching staff.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming.
- Previous experience as a basketball player at the high school or collegiate level.
- An understanding of team hierarchy and experience working in athletics.
- The ability to work well within a team setting.
- Professional integrity and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Location & details#
- Location: Laramie, Wyoming.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: You must be available to work 20 hours per week. Your class schedule must allow for attendance at practices (MWF 1:00-4:00 pm and T/Th 1:00-4:00 pm) and home games, including weekday evening games and weekend games.
- Employment type: Part-time, paid position.
