About the role#
This position is for an ATS Computer Lab Assistant at the University of Wyoming. It is an on-campus, part-time role designed to fit around your class schedule. You will work in a consistent, semester-long schedule with the option to pick up extra shifts. During quiet periods, you are permitted to work on your homework.
What you'll do#
- Provide basic computer support and assist users with printing and software issues.
- Troubleshoot account, quota, and email problems for lab users.
- Keep the lab clean and orderly.
- Collect lost and found items.
- Maintain records of print deposits and handle cash amounts up to $100.
- Complete exams and optional training to earn raises.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a UW college student.
- Experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with consumer technology.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and communicate solutions effectively.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Laramie, Wyoming.
- Work is on-site at the university campus.
- Shifts are available days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Preference is given to those available from 7am to 1pm on weekdays or for evening shifts from 5pm to 11pm.
- This is a paid position.
