About the role#
The Broadcast Studio Manager supports the operations of Student Media at the University of Wyoming. This role involves managing studio bookings, overseeing client usage, and ensuring the facility remains in good working order. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients and support staff to ensure projects are completed successfully.
What you'll do#
- Manage studio bookings and oversee client sessions to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Prepare invoices for clients and secure necessary signatures.
- Verify that all studio equipment is functional before and after every use.
- Coordinate with studio support staff regarding client project needs.
- Assist in creating marketing campaigns for the studio.
- Clean and organize the studio space and maintain equipment, reporting any necessary repairs or replacements to the supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Proficiency with studio equipment is required.
- Must be available to start work on August 18, 2025.
- Required availability for publication deadlines on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
- Required availability for training on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Preferred experience includes prior supervisory roles, broadcasting, video production, and knowledge of industry-related software.
- Relevant fields of study include Media Studies, Graphic Design, Communications, Art, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time position located in Laramie, Wyoming.
- The role operates on a rolling term basis.
