About the role#
The Box Office Attendant serves as a primary contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors at the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. This role provides essential ticketing services and event information for music, theatre, and dance performances.
What you'll do#
- Process ticket orders using Tix ticketing software.
- Answer phone calls to assist with ticket purchases and provide event information.
- Handle credit card transactions following PCI compliance rules.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including counting back change.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all patrons.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Eligibility for a work study award through Student Financial Aid, with the award already received and accepted.
- Prior experience in customer service or a box office role is preferred.
- Prior cash handling experience is preferred.

- Location: Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts, Laramie, Wyoming.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay rate: $11.00 to $16.00 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
