About the role#
The Student Ombuds Office is hiring a Student Assistant to support office operations. This is a part-time, on-site position located in Tampa, Florida. The role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your classes, though you must be available on Wednesdays from 9am to 2pm for the weekly Bull Market event.
What you'll do#
- Greet and engage visitors to the office.
- Market office services to students through in-person and virtual campus events.
- Develop and track social media campaigns to promote the office.
- Refer students to other campus departments when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be a currently enrolled USF student.
- Customer service experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Experience using design software like Canva.

- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week.
