About the role#
The University of South Florida is hiring a Student Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is part of the Federal Work Study program and requires on-site work in Tampa, Florida. Please note that this role is subject to a Level 1 criminal background check.
What you'll do#
- Scan and process packages using Received Digital software.
- Assist postal representatives with package deliveries to student mail centers.
- Provide customer service support by answering doors and responding to telephone inquiries.
- Maintain accurate package-processing procedures.
- Complete operational, administrative, and special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- A current Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Proficiency in Adobe.
- To provide proof of your FWS award by printing the Award Overview screen from OASIS.
- To submit a cover letter, resume, FWS award document, and class schedule.
