Intern Diesel Mechanic

About the role#

As an Intern Diesel Mechanic, you will gain hands-on experience with the equipment rental industry. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to equipment maintenance and branch operations while working alongside experienced mechanics. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity.

What you'll do#

• Learn the various types of equipment available for rent and understand their specific applications.
• Perform manual and maintenance tasks to support daily branch operations.
• Provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics during service and repair tasks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or GED.
• Currently pursuing a technical degree or certification (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering majors preferred).
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and foundational knowledge of tools and equipment.
• A self-motivated approach with a strong sense of urgency.
• Superior communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
