About the role#
As an Intern Diesel Mechanic, you will gain hands-on experience with the diverse range of equipment rented by United Rentals. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to manual and maintenance tasks while supporting branch operations. Successful interns will have the opportunity to work toward service technician roles upon completion of their degree or certification.
What you'll do#
- Learn about various types of equipment and their specific applications.
- Assist seasoned mechanics with daily maintenance and manual tasks.
- Provide labor assistance to ensure smooth branch operations.
- Deliver exceptional service to customers.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently pursuing a technical degree or certification.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
