About the role#
We are looking for a Sales Intern to join our team in the South and East Houston area. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to help you build a career in the equipment rental industry. You will learn the sales process by working alongside our inside and outside sales teams, with a focus on customer service. The goal of this program is to prepare you for a potential role as a Sales Associate after you graduate.
What you'll do#
- Participate in safety training and follow all safety policies.
- Support branch operations in the yard, including equipment check-in and washing.
- Assist customers with their rental needs.
- Shadow inside and outside sales staff to understand their daily responsibilities.
- Complete training on internal systems, including RentalMan and Salesforce.
- Join departmental meetings, ride-alongs, work sessions, and conference calls.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related sales field.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Analytical and financial analysis skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-motivated approach with a sense of urgency.
- Prior work experience is preferred.

- This is an on-site role with a rolling term.
- Locations include Houston, Galveston, League City, La Porte, and Stafford, Texas.
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive.
