About the role#
This is a part-time position for a Student Nurse Extern in the Intensive Care Unit at Saint Agnes Medical Center. You will report to the Practice Coordinator and gain clinical experience while completing your nursing education.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process.
- Perform clinical tasks within the scope of a registered nurse while under the direct supervision of a preceptor.
- Complete skills validated by nursing faculty and document them in the Nursing Skills Checklist.
- Function as non-licensed assistive personnel when not working under work study hours.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment and good standing in an accredited Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program.
- Successful completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Current enrollment in a Work Study course as required by your school.

- The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.
