Pharmacist Intern Nampa

About the role#

This is a part-time, paid internship at the Nampa Medical Campus. Interns work under the supervision of registered pharmacists to perform professional pharmacy functions in accordance with state laws and regulations. This role involves rotating shifts.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and dispense medication orders as requested by physicians.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all services and supplies provided to patients.
• Support pharmacists in maintaining safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies.
• Contribute to the quality and effective operation of the department.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with medical staff and other health professionals.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Registration as an Extern or Intern with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy or the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a health system or as a pharmacy technician.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work within a cooperative team environment and adapt to institutional schedules.
