About the role#
This is an 11-week, full-time internship program based in Waco, Texas, starting in May 2027. You will work alongside HR and Operations leaders to support the daily functions of a distribution center. This role provides hands-on experience with the team member lifecycle, from recruiting to training and policy compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support the communication and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Partner with HR leaders to address team member questions and workplace matters.
- Assist with analyzing workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics to identify trends.
- Support recruiting activities for hourly and technical positions, including application reviews and interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development activities for the team.
- Support new hire orientation, onboarding, and safety-related initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
