About the role#
The Merchandising Summer Internship is an 11-week program based at our Store Support Center in Brentwood, Tennessee. You will work within the merchandising organization, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as buying, product development, operations, presentation, or data analytics. This role allows you to contribute to projects that impact our business while learning from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support buying teams with product assortment, category analysis, vendor relationships, and competitive research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to assist in the development and introduction of new products.
- Help plan and execute special merchandising events and promotions.
- Support planogram development, space planning, and product placement strategies.
- Use data analytics tools to gather insights and monitor key performance indicators.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Retail Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Access and Excel.
