About the role#
The Kogod School of Business is hiring a Graduate Educational Assistant for the Fall 2026 term. This part-time position supports students enrolled in ITEC 610 Applied Managerial Statistics. You will work 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide tutoring and extra help to graduate students outside of class time.
- Hold residential office hours for one to two hours each week over a 15-week period.
- Host additional residential office hours on weekends during three specific exam periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student at American University.
- Successful completion of a graduate-level statistics course with a grade of B+ or better.
- Strong quantitative and interpersonal skills.
- Preference is given to students who have completed ITEC 610 at the Kogod School of Business.

- This position is located on-site at the American University main campus in Washington, DC.
- The role is paid at a rate of $20.00 per hour.
- This position is open only to current American University students.
