About the role#
Bay Mills Community College is hiring a student for a part-time Early Childhood Education Assistant position. This role provides administrative support to the Early Childhood Education Department. You will help with office tasks, data management, and departmental coordination while supporting the college mission.
What you'll do#
- Provide office support for Early Childhood Education programming.
- Manage records and electronic file systems for assessments and grants.
- Organize and take meeting minutes for Early Childhood related committees.
- Help the department and college maintain accreditation standard compliance.
- Work with the Institutional Research Department to collect data for reporting.
- Assist faculty in reaching educational and professional goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a degree-seeking student at Bay Mills Community College.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
- Completion of 67% of attempted credits at the college.
- Enrollment in at least 6 credits for the semester.
- At least 70% attendance in all classes.
- Advanced word processing and computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Canva, Word, and Excel.

- This position is based in Brimley, Michigan.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid position at $16 per hour.
