About the role#
The Legal Summer Internship is an 11-week program based at our Store Support Center in Brentwood, Tennessee. You will work alongside legal professionals to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment. This role supports our business operations by managing risk and addressing various legal matters.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and analysis regarding contracts, employment, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, summarizing, and managing contracts and other legal documents.
- Support initiatives that promote compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Help with litigation and dispute-related matters through document management and research.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school pursuing a Juris Doctor degree.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship.
