About the role#
This 11-week internship program is designed for students interested in supply chain and operations leadership. You will work on-site at our Distribution Center in Pendleton, Indiana, starting in May 2027. This is a full-time role where you will learn the day-to-day operations that support our stores and customers. You will gain exposure to inbound and outbound logistics, inventory flow, safety, and quality standards while working alongside experienced leaders.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience across Distribution Center operations.
- Develop an understanding of product flow, productivity, quality, and safety.
- Partner with Distribution Center leaders and team members to support daily operational priorities.
- Analyze operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend solutions that support business performance.
- Contribute to projects focused on operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through previous employment, internships, campus organizations, or extracurricular activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to relocate to and reside in the Pendleton, Indiana area for the duration of the internship.
