About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on projects ranging from scalable system design to product feature development. You will join one of our engineering teams, such as Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, or Inference, to build solutions from initial scope through to production. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our headquarters in San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain software across our tech stack, from low-level systems to customer-facing UIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features and improvements.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code with a focus on maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Contribute ideas to shape the direction of our products and technical infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation date by Summer 2028.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Typescript.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and communicate technical trade-offs.
- Prior experience through internships, hackathons, or personal projects.
- Bonus points for experience with web development, databases, distributed systems, cloud platforms, or open-source contributions.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4th to April 9th).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position at an estimated rate of $58 per hour, plus housing stipends and benefits.
