About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Vercel, you will work on projects that impact our products and customers. You will have a mentor and opportunities to grow your skills while working alongside our engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Own an end-to-end project from scoping and building to shipping.
- Write and review production code with the engineers who maintain it.
- Debug real systems by tracing issues through the stack to find the root cause.
- Communicate your progress clearly and surface blockers early.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Strong capability with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with Go or Rust is a bonus.
- Ability to dig into problems and move work forward independently.
- Strong written communication skills for asynchronous work.
- Fluency with AI tooling to move faster while maintaining the ability to explain and debug your work.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Winter 2027.
- The role is hybrid, based in San Francisco, California.
- You must be willing and able to commute to the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship.
