About the role#
This internship offers a chance to learn about the financial services industry. You will work with seasoned financial advisors and participate in training programs. The role prepares you for a career as a financial advisor through real-world training, case analysis, and exposure to industry software.
What you'll do#
- Complete an orientation and training program.
- Shadow financial advisors during client meetings, workshops, and community events.
- Prepare financial plans and analyses.
- Use financial planning software such as MoneyGuidePro and Morningstar.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss weekly activities, trends, and concepts.
- Observe regional seminars and attend virtual sessions with corporate employees.
- Work with the Engagement Team to integrate generosity programs into business strategies.
- Collaborate with other interns on a research project focused on building a financial services business.
What you'll need#
- You are a college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- You have technical computer skills and experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Location: Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
- This is an on-site, part-time, paid position.
- The internship term is rolling.
- Course credit is available if coordinated with your school administration.
