About the role#
The Fixed Income Investment & Business Analysis Co-op Program offers students hands-on experience within the Investment Management division. You will work alongside portfolio managers, analysts, and traders to support investment research, trading activities, and business operations. Participants gain exposure to various fixed income strategies, including Emerging Markets Debt, Municipal Bonds, and High Yield.
What you'll do#
- Monitor financial markets, economic developments, and investment trends.
- Conduct research on markets and sectors to support investment decisions.
- Track government auctions, bond issuances, and portfolio exposures.
- Compile and summarize market data and research findings.
- Support credit and fundamental research by analyzing financial and statistical information.
- Assist with portfolio reporting, competitor analysis, and business metrics.
- Prepare presentations and materials for meetings and investment discussions.
- Propose improvements for business processes and operational efficiency.
- Complete ad-hoc research and analytical projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Mathematics, with a graduation date following the co-op.
- Ability to commit to six months of full-time employment.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets, investing, or asset management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented work style.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Experience with financial research or data analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills are a plus.

- The position requires an on-site presence.
