About the role#
The AlphaWise Summer Associate Program is a 10-week internship based in New York. You will join the Research division to work on quantitative projects alongside full-time professionals. The program begins with a training curriculum to build your professional and technical skills. You will then work with Equity Analysts, Strategists, and Economists to produce data-driven research.
What you'll do#
- Explore, analyze, and develop models using market and alternative datasets.
- Identify correlations among company and industry KPIs, valuations, multiples, and stock returns to generate predictive insights.
- Use GenAI and other NLP models to extract insights, automate workflows, and enhance research processes.
- Clearly articulate the rationale, methodology, and outcomes of research initiatives in presentations and reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or Computer Science.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Python or another common programming language such as C, C++, Java, R, or Matlab.
- A solid academic foundation in mathematics and statistics.
