About the role#
This internship runs from January through June 2027. You will join the Worldwide Safety team to help coordinate safety for guests and cast members. The role is full-time and on-site in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Assist with safety, health, and sanitation or food safety audits and create corrective action plans.
- Conduct field surveys including noise dosimetry and indoor air quality assessments.
- Develop Job Safety Analyses to address site-specific requirements like machine guarding and personal protective equipment.
- Attend and help lead safety and wellness committee meetings.
- Participate in incident investigations and follow up on findings.
- Evaluate incident and near miss trend data to recommend and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide feedback on safety and health requirements during design review meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Post Graduate degree program in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student status by the arrival date.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A valid US driver's license.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Availability to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour for undergraduate students and $30.40 per hour for graduate students.
- This position is a paid internship.
