About the role#
Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital is looking for a DVM or VMD student to join our team as an extern. You will work within a multi-doctor general practice environment in Virginia Beach. This externship provides hands-on exposure to clinical work under the mentorship of experienced veterinarians.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a multi-doctor general practice setting.
- Work under the guidance of experienced veterinarians.
- Gain experience with basic surgeries.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards for patient care and client communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary school in a VMD or DVM degree path.
- A desire to learn and collaborate with a team.
- Strong communication skills.
