About the role#
Manchester Veterinary Services offers a veterinary student externship for those pursuing a DVM or VMD degree. This position provides hands-on experience in a companion animal and small mammal practice. Externs work alongside a collaborative team in a facility equipped with modern technology and updated tools.
What you'll do#
- Assist with routine veterinary work.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School in a VMD or DVM degree path.
- Strong clinical skills in wellness and dentistry.
- Ability to gain experience with basic soft tissue and ophthalmic surgeries.
- Familiarity with in-house lab capabilities, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser.
