About the role#
Paradocs Animal Hospital in Locust Grove, Virginia, is seeking a DVM/VMD student extern to join our team. We are an AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital that treats a variety of species, including small animals, equine, and exotics. You will work alongside our experienced veterinarians in a collaborative environment that values mentorship and high-quality medicine.
What you'll do#
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to a range of species.
- Work directly with experienced veterinarians to gain hands-on experience.
- Participate in wellness exams and preventative care appointments.
- Engage in surgical procedures and diagnostic work.
- Contribute to our team culture and support our hospital operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary school in a VMD or DVM degree path.
- A genuine interest in veterinary medicine.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow your clinical skills.
