About the role#

The DVM/VMD Externship at Tri-County Veterinary Clinic in Sevierville, Tennessee, offers veterinary students the opportunity to gain clinical experience in a supportive, professional environment. This externship provides mentorship and hands-on training, with a stipend available to help offset housing and travel costs.

What you'll do#

• Engage in hands-on training and mentorship from experienced veterinarians.
• Assist the clinical team with daily tasks and procedures.
• Participate in the daily operations of the veterinary clinic.
• Support the team in providing exceptional animal care.
• Learn about various veterinary practices and procedures.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path).
• A strong interest in veterinary medicine.
• A team-oriented attitude and a desire for professional development.
• Motivation to learn and grow within a clinical environment.
