About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to work with teams across Quality Engineering, Worldwide Safety and Assurance, Engineering Services, and Facility Asset Management. You will contribute to projects that maintain and improve the systems and ride vehicles used in Disney parks. The program runs from January to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support data analysis and projects that identify safety-related trends.
- Design and supervise the fabrication and testing of new designs for ride vehicles and systems.
- Provide software services for ride, show, and process control systems.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve technical issues in software and hardware interfaces.
- Use C++, C#, Python, and Node.js to build and maintain code for system operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Post Graduate degree at an accredited 4-year college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Availability to work various shifts based on project requirements.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- The position is paid at $31 per hour for undergraduate students and $36 per hour for graduate students.
