About the role#
The Desktop Support Co-Op provides hands-on technical support for employees in the Dayton office. You will work with desktop, laptop, mobile, and printer technologies while gaining practical experience in an IT environment. This position is open to students graduating between December 2026 and December 2028.
What you'll do#
- Deliver and install desktop and laptop systems, including data migration and software installation.
- Provide general end-user support for enterprise hardware and mobile devices.
- Resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, printers, and connectivity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues using monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with technical support team members in the Dayton office.
- Assist with hardware peripherals and daily backup procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or advanced degree program in IT, MIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with Windows, Mac, and iOS.
- Familiarity with AI tools and an understanding of their potential workplace applications.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 19 hours per week while taking classes.
- A customer-focused approach to teamwork.
