About the role#
This student worker position provides administrative support to the Histocompatibility department. You will assist with clerical tasks and special projects under the direction of department leadership. This role is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Handle data entry, filing, and customer requests.
- Create presentations for company leaders.
- Identify ways to improve process efficiency and work with team members.
- Analyze department issues and offer recommendations for resolution.
- Support staff with reports and special projects.
- Follow all regulatory and compliance requirements.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university in communications, business, or a health-related field.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Less than 1 year of experience with integrated HRIS or payroll systems, with a preference for Ceridian.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
