About the role#
Versiti Inc. is hiring a Student Worker to join the Information Systems team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is designed for students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity. You will work 20 hours per week, with a schedule that remains flexible to accommodate your classes.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff with the installation, maintenance, upgrade, and decommissioning of network hardware and software.
- Help maintain desktop computers and configure servers.
- Monitor network and server performance using established tools.
- Support Service Desk operations and management tasks.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the IS management team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Completion of relevant computer-related course work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to represent the department professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

- Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week.
