About the role#
The Operational Excellence Intern supports initiatives focused on process improvement, workforce development, and document governance. You will work within the Operational Excellence department to help create and maintain technical development materials, coordinate reviews with subject matter experts, and produce professional business documents.
What you'll do#
- Draft technical development objectives and learning materials using AI-enabled tools.
- Coordinate and facilitate reviews with technical subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.
- Format and prepare professional policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and training materials.
- Assist with process documentation, workflow mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain project trackers, action-item logs, and status dashboards.
- Schedule meetings and prepare meeting notes for project stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with sophomore standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Engineering Technology, Technical Communications, Education, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
